This is a great gift idea for anyone. It is an optical illusion picture frame. This is handmade and uses 3 hardwood veneers (Oak, Honduras Mahogany, Dark Walnut), painstakingly arranged to create that which you see here...an eternally infinite border. It is perfect for any picture, photo, mirror, document, etc. The illusionary effect is self working and can be viewed from any angle in the room. A hard, clear lacquer finish is applied, then polished to enhance and protect the natural wood grain. The outside dimensions are 19" and the inside are 11 1/2".
